Urinary conditions
Leaking, rushing to the bathroom, or planning your day around where the nearest restroom is can quietly take over your life. These symptoms are common, but they are not something you have to accept as "normal" — and they are very treatable.
Urinary Conditions We Treat
Urinary Incontinence
Leaking urine with coughing, sneezing, laughing, lifting, or exercise (stress incontinence), or leaking that comes with a sudden, strong urge (urge incontinence). Many people experience a mix of both.
Urinary Urgency
A sudden, hard-to-ignore need to get to a bathroom right now, sometimes even when your bladder isn't full.
Urinary Frequency
Urinating more often than feels normal, including waking multiple times overnight, often passing only small amounts.
Incomplete Bladder Emptying
A sense that your bladder never fully empties, or a slow or hesitant stream.
Urinary symptoms can stem from weakness, tightness, or poor coordination of the pelvic floor muscles, changes after pregnancy and childbirth, hormonal shifts, or a bladder and nervous system that have become overly sensitive. Habits like going "just in case" can also train the bladder to hold less over time, which makes frequency and urgency worse rather than better.
what causes these issues?
We look at the whole picture: pelvic floor strength and coordination, breathing and posture, bladder habits, and daily routines. Treatment may include pelvic floor strengthening or relaxation (depending on what we find), coordination and timing retraining, urge-suppression strategies, bladder retraining, and practical guidance on fluids and food triggers. You'll leave with a home program built around your specific patterns, not a generic handout.

Frequently Asked Questions about Urinary Conditions
Is leaking normal after having kids?
It's common, but common doesn't mean you have to live with it. It's very treatable.
Will I need to stop drinking water or coffee?
Not necessarily. We'll help you identify your specific triggers rather than assuming a broad restriction.
Do I need an internal exam?
No. It can offer helpful information, but it's always optional.
How soon will I notice a difference?
Many patients notice change within the first several sessions as coordination and habits improve.
